getting It looks like Task 1 is no longer passing message. even.py

There are quite a few obvious errors in your sample.

  1. start = 5 must not be indented. Accurate indents is important in Python
  2. if (1, 99) == % 2: should probably be if even_odd(number):
  3. finally: start -= 1 should be just start -= 1
