Hi, Analyn. You've just formatted your if statement incorrectly. They should look like this:

if ( /*conditional statement here, in regular brackets */) {
  //what happens if true;
} else {
  //what happens if false;
}

Note the use of parentheses ({ and }). Also note that there are no semicolons (;) except for the lines of code inside where what happens if the conditional statement is true or false.
