Great work! OK, let's do another test. Get the last two items from favorite_things and put them into slice2

hi have tried with 

slice2=favorite_things[5:7]
or
slice2=favorite_things[5:9999]
or 
slice2=favorite_things[-2:]

they all give me right result but i keep on getting them bummer messages

slices.py 
favorite_things = ['raindrops on roses', 'whiskers on kittens', 'bright copper kettles',
                   'warm woolen mittens', 'bright paper packages tied up with string',
                   'cream colored ponies', 'crisp apple']

slice1=favorite_things[1:4]
slice2=favorite_things[5:9999]

You modified favorite_things. The last item is 'crisp apple strudels'. Otherwise your code will pass.
