Has anyone else had this issue. It is telling me I did not create an unordered list element with the word "portfolio"?

In my code in the challenge I have

<ul>Portfolio</ul>

But it is not registering as having input properly

Your code should look like this:

<nav>
        <ul>
          <li>Portfolio</li>
          <li>About</li>
          <li>Contact</li>
        </ul>
</nav>

With list tags around the text, not unordered list tags.

The format for an unordered list is this:

<ul>
   <li>Portfolio</li>
   <li>About</li>
   <li>Contact</li>
</ul>

ul=unordered list, li=list item
