Having difficulties getting the objective to print correctly in Continue Exercise

Here is my code for the continue exercise:

def loopy(items): for item in items: if [0] in items == "a": continue else: print(item)

This is not printing the correctly (at least that is what the error is telling me). Is there something wrong with the code? Someone please help.

breaks.py
def loopy(items):
    # Code goes here

Hey Raelin,

You're on the right track, but you missed checking the iteration at index 0. You just have an index of 0, but it's not attached to anything, so Python doesn't know what you want the index 0 of. Make sense?

Below is the corrected code for your reference. Have a look and I hope it clears it up for you. :)

def loopy(items):
    # Code goes here
    for item in items:
        if item[0] == "a":
            continue
        else:
            print(item)

Keep Coding! :) :dizzy:
