Having trouble linking Wordpress to Domain

Hi Zac,

I followed your directions exactly for linking my first WordPress site to a domain I purchased from webhostingforstudents.com. Once i installed Wordpress and logged in, I tried to view my site the way you did in the video. But instead of showing my new site, it was the default webhostingforstudents page that said i needed to FTP into my account to upload files.

Would you be able to help me with this? Im not sure i missed a step, but definitely followed all your instructions from this video!

Hi @Tyler Wain, would you be a little more specific? How did you install WordPress on your hosted server? eg What folder did you install it in, is it a the site root? Any extra information will help other students better understand your issue :)
