Having Trouble on Object-Oriented Challenge __init__ Task 2 of 2

I am stuck on writing the for loop in task 2 of 2. I tried using the setattr function with the self, key, and value arguments like Mr. Love did in the video before, but it didn't work. What am I doing wrong?

first_class.py
class Student:
    name = "name"

    def praise(self):
        return "You inspire me, {}".format(self.name)

    def reassurance(self):
        return "Chin up, {}. You'll get it next time!".format(self.name)

    def feedback(self, grade):
        if grade > 50:
            return self.praise()
        return self.reassurance()

    def __init__(self, name, **kwargs):
        self.name = name

        for key, value in **kwargs(self):
            setattr(self, key, value)

I think what you're looking for is this (you're super close!):

def __init__(self, name, **kwargs):
    self.name = name

    for key, value in **kwargs.items():
        stator(self, key, value)

The **kwargs.items() is what iterates through the input.

Shanay had the right idea, but you don't use the "splat" operator again, and there's no method named "stator".

Basically, instead of "**kwargs(self)", you need "kwargs.items()".
