Having trouble returning an argument that's passed through the function

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong with this problem. I can't figure out why I cannot get the return command to work, help please!

script.js
function returnValue(bing, ding, dong) {
  var echo = bing + ding;
 return echo + dong;
}

When you say you're having trouble, what do you mean? Is there a specific error you're getting?

My mistake, I thought the prompt also posted. This is the prompt:

"After your newly created returnValue function, create a new variable named echo. Set the value of echo to be the results from calling the returnValue function. When you call the returnValue function, make sure to pass in any string you'd like for the parameter."

And here's my error code:

"Make sure you return the argument that's passed into the function. In other words type return, a space, and the parameter name."

Thanks!

The first task asks for a function with a single argument like this:

function returnValue(bing) {
  return bing;
}

Yes, I've gotten that far and then gotten stumped on the second prompt.

Thanks!
