HAXM cannot be installed

I have an Intel(R) Xeon(R) processor running at 2.5 Ghz. I am running Windows 7 Pro. I am trying to install the Intel Hardware Accelerated Execution Manager. When I try to install HAXM I get the following error: This computer does not support Intel Virtualization Technology (VT-x). HAXM cannot be installed. Please refer to the Intel HAXM documentation for more information. What can I do to fix this?

Have you tried booting to BIOS setup and see if "VT-x" or "Virtualization" is available and turned on? If it's just turned off, great. Just turn it on and save settings. Otherwise there isn't much else you can do because both the CPU and BIOS need to support VT-x for it to work.
