head and body

In the programming challenge on step three it requests that you add the head and body elements. So I added <head></head> and <body></body>, but it says that I forgot the head tag. Isn't <head></head> a head tag?? What am I missing here. Feels silly to be stuck at such an elementary part of the course.

The head tag looks like this.

<head>

</head>

So your code should look like this.

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
  <head>

  </head>
  <body>

  </body>
</html>
