hello again, when adding strings to same line

I am asked to add other variables to same string, which I have done but keeps giving Synatax Error message, any suggestions?

var id = "23188xtr";
var lastName = "Smith";

var userName = id.toUpperCase(); = #lastName.toUpperCase();

Here's a few hints:

  • an assignment ("=") needs a term on the left to assign to
  • literal strings must be enclosed in quotes
  • to join strings, use the concatenation operator ("+") between them
