Ruby Ruby Basics (Retired) Ruby Methods Method Returns: Part 2

Hello, please take a look at my out and tell me whats wrong.

I keep getting: "Make sure your output is a nicely definded string".

What am i doing wrong?

method.rb
def mod(a, b)
  c = a % b
  puts "The remainder of #{a} divided by #{b} is #{c}."

end

mod(8, 3)

Hey Adrian,

you're putting out the string but you have to return it. Also note that you don't have to call the method yourself as this will happen automatically when the challenge is evaluated.

This is the working code:

def mod(a, b)
  c = a % b
  return "The remainder of #{a} divided by #{b} is #{c}."
end
