Hey Yasser,

I recommend you to watch the previous videos again as the way how to solve this challenge is covered there. You have to change your arguments into floats in a try block and handle the exception with an except block that returns None. If there is no exception which means that you could change your arguments into floats you have to return the result of the addition of both arguments like so:

def add (x,y):
  try:
    x = float(x)
    y = float(y)
  except ValueError:
    return None
  else:
    return x + y

Also note that you don't have to call the method yourself as this will happen automatically when the challenge is evaluated.
