[HELP] combo.py trouble

Hi! My brain is toasted after many hours of python today. I can't get my head around how to solve this challenge.

I CAN get the right output by slicing manually:

def combo(it1, it2):
    return [(it1[0], it2[0]),(it1[1], it2[1]),(it1[2], it2[2])]

But that is obviously not what the Treehouse checker wants for supper.

Anyone care to share their solution with me?

# combo([1, 2, 3], 'abc')
# Output:
# [(1, 'a'), (2, 'b'), (3, 'c')]
def combo(it1, it2):
    return [(it1[0], it2[0]),(it1[1], it2[1]),(it1[2], it2[2])]
