2,227 PointsYou forgot to close the Class with an }, your fish is named bass and not base (or maybe you wanted to say $bass in the instuctions), and I'm not sure but I think you have to not put spaces around the arrow ($this->variable) !

22,986 PointsThat sounds pretty good! It should look something like this - make sure to indent your code because it makes it super easy to see if you're missing braces!
<?php
class Fish {
public $common_name ='';
public $flavor='';
public $record_weight='';
function __construct($name, $flavor, $record){
$this-> common_name = $name;
$this->flavor = $flavor;
$this->record_weight = $record;
}
}
$bass = new Fish("Largemouth Bass", "Excellent", "22 pounds 5 ounces");
echo $bass->getInfo();
?>
However, it doesn't look like you have a getInfo method inside you're class. Is it asking you to add one or have you skipped ahead? Code challenges can be picky so try and follow exactly what they tell you too.
