You need an <img> tag!

Something more like this: <img src="smiley.gif" alt="Smiley face" height="42" width="42">

I would recommend google searching similar problems that likely come as a result of learning so much so quickly, which makes it is easy to forget the simple things. This has worked well for me over the last four months on Treehouse.

Google Search: "adding images in html"

Brought me here: http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_img.asp

Hope this helps!

Hi Hilda You are missing an image tag. Your code should look like this. I hope this helps.

        <ul>
        <li><img src="img/numbers-01.jpg" alt=""></li>
        <li><img src="img/numbers-02.jpg" alt=""></li>
        <li><img src="img/numbers-06.jpg" alt=""></li>
      </ul>
