What is wrong with my code and why?

Remove the extra:

echo $letter;

The one before: echo "."

Should look like this afterwords:

$letters = array("D", "G", "L");
echo "My favorite ";
echo count($letters);
echo " letters are these: ";
foreach($letters as $letter){
  echo $letter;
}
echo ".";

?>
