It's saying error and I can't spot the error, Am I'm doing something wrong?

Hi as the variable is already holding the new date you need to return the variable name. eg return year

I’ve put

Function getYear() {var year = new year = new Data().getFullYear(); return year; }

But it still shows error and I can’t spot the error

you typed new Data it needs to be new Date, thats should work good luck
