Help with this task!

Hi,

This is what was taught in video to center the content using margin selector. But I am unable to figure out what is wrong. Help me with this please !

The task is : Select the wrapper, set a max width of 940 pixels, and then center it on the page using the margin property.

The code I wrote is : #wrapper{ max-width : 940px; margin : 0 auto; }

Bummer : Check the margin values in your CSS.

Not sure, it works for me:

#wrapper{
    max-width: 940px;
    margin: 0 auto;
}

Thank U Jeff ... But the space should have no impact .. !!! May be its the task that is configured that way.

Hi Purvi,

remove the spaces before the colons :

Jeff

max-width : 940px;
margin : 0 auto;

max-width: 940px;
