Python Python Basics (2015) Logic in Python Try and Except

Help with try block

I am stuck on this problem. The try block goes after the def add(num1, num2) function?

trial.py 
def add(num1, num2):
try:
    num1 = float(num1)
    num2 = float(num2)
    return (num1+num2)
except ValueError:
    return None
else:
    return (num1 + num2)

Make sure to indent code under the function:

def add(num1, num2):
    try:
        num1 = float(num1)
        num2 = float(num2)
        return (num1+num2)
    except ValueError:
        return None
    else:
        return (num1 + num2)
