I am not entirely sure what you are getting, but if you follow the creating the fun facts project using android studio you should be able to get a project similar to Ben's. The only thing that might be different might be the skin in the emulator but if I remember correctly this is not an issue on this project.

As long as your project is up and running with the same structure as Ben you should be fine. You can also download the project and compare.
