Hi! Can't figure out this step. Appears to be correct on sketch board when refreshed, but I am missing something.

<title>Lists and Links</title> </head> <body> <h1> Ingredients </h1> <p> Make sure to include all of the following ingredients. </p> <ul> <a><li><a href=“cakes.html“. > Cakes</a></li> <li> <a href=“pies.html“. > Pies </a></li> <li><a href="candy.html". > Candy </a> </li> </ul>

</li></body> </html>

index.html
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
  <head>
    <title>Lists and Links</title>
  </head>
  <body>
    <h1> Ingredients </h1>
    <p> Make sure to include all of the following ingredients. </p>
    <ul>
    <a><li><a href=“cakes.html“. > Cakes</a></li>
    <li> <a href=“pies.html“. > Pies </a></li>
    <li><a href="candy.html". > Candy </a> </li>
    </ul>

  </li></body>

your answer is correct, you just have some non valid characters, in this case the double quotes in your href attribute, just change it to ", this code worked for me.

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
  <head>
    <title>Lists and Links</title>
  </head>
  <body>
  <ul>
    <li><a href="cakes.html">Cakes</a></li>
    <li><a href="pies.html">Pies</a></li>
    <li><a href="candy.html">Candy</a></li>
    </ul>
  </body>
</html>

I noticed you also had an extra anchor tag.
