Hi! Does anyone know why my function is returning the wrong number of keys? Thanks in advance!

Teacher Stats: Challenge Task 1 of 5

teachers.py
# The dictionary will look something like:
# {'Andrew Chalkley': ['jQuery Basics', 'Node.js Basics'],
#  'Kenneth Love': ['Python Basics', 'Python Collections']}
#
# Each key will be a Teacher and the value will be a list of courses.
#
# Your code goes below here.

def num_teachers (teacher_course):
    teacher_course = {}
    return len(teacher_course.keys())

This line:

    teacher_course = {}

Is setting teacher_course to a blank dict. You probably don't want this line at all.[
