Hi, I can't seem to pass the last question on this code challenge.

This is what I have:

<?php $name = 'Mike'; if($name == 'Mike') {echo 'Hi, I am Mike!'}; ?>

Hi Barbara,

You almost have the challenge correct. The code challenge isn't passing because you put the semicolon after the closing bracket. Put it before the closing bracket and it will pass.

A good form of code structure would have you put the brackets on different lines so you will not have this confusion again. Semicolons are used to terminate lines of syntax in PHP, but if you do not put your opening and closing brackets on their own line, then you need to terminate your PHP syntax then use your closing brackets. This is one of the reasons why you would have your opening and closing brackets on separate lines.
