hi, i'm stuck to "change the color of h1 tag to purple" and also suggestion, you should have a "hint" once the student can't figure out what he's doing.

index.html
<!doctype html>
<html>
  <head>
    <link href="styles.css" rel="stylesheet">
  </head>
  <body>

    <h1> Welcome to My Web Page!</h1>

  </body>
</html>

If you want to change the color while you're still in your index.html file you can do it like this: <h1 style="color:green;">My heading is green</h1>

BUT if you want to change it in your CSS file you can do it like this: h1 { color: green; }

Hope this helps.
