hi it says "Oops! it looks like task 2 is no longer passing" , does that mean i failed? im confused xD

It just means you might have edited the task 2 part and now it's wrong, so all you have to do is delete whatever you have done after task 2 and try answering task 2 again.

Whenever I've ssen this it's been a typo that affected the previous answer while answering the next. The auto-complete can be a bit of a pain.
