Python Python Collections (2016, retired 2019) Dictionaries Word Count

Hi, I've tried this exact script in the workspace, and it seems to work there. Why won't it work here?

Any advice?

wordcount.py
# E.g. word_count("I do not like it Sam I Am") gets back a dictionary like:
# {'i': 2, 'do': 1, 'it': 1, 'sam': 1, 'like': 1, 'not': 1, 'am': 1}
# Lowercase the string to make it easier.

def word_count(stringy):
    splitt = (stringy.lower()).split(' ')
    new_dict = {}
    for word in splitt:
        if word in new_dict.keys():
            new_dict[word] += 1
        else:
            new_dict.update({word:1})
    return new_dict

Never mind, everybody. I found the solution myself.
