  1. Remove the quote marks from the parameter name on line one. We're not passing a string argument just yet, only defining the function. At this point the word number is just a placeholder for the string you'll pass in for the second part of the challenge.

  2. The echo variable's value should be the result of calling the returnValue function, and to invoke a function you'll need to put parentheses at the end of the function name. Inside those parentheses is where you pass in the string you want to return, so you will need quote marks around that value.
