How appendchild() work

How do I append new paragraph to div element

app.js 
const contentDiv = document.getElementById("content");
let newParagraph = document.createElement("p").appendChild(div);
newParagraph.className = "panel";
index.html

<html>
    <head>
        <title>DOM Manipulation</title>
    </head>

You're close, but the arguments are reversed. The method should be applied to the parent (div), and the argument is the new paragraph:

contentDiv.appendChild(newParagraph);

Not a bad idea but you can use it the "contentDiv" not the simple div, but now everything needs a new line. "which to append".appendChild(which should be append); Maybe I hope this help.
