How can I add a code snippet from my code directly into a question?

I have seen other answer questions using snippets of code from workspaces. How is that done as it makes asking/answering much easier? Thanks.

You have to copy and paste it. Wrap your code with 3 backticks (```) on the line before and after. If you specify the language after the first set of backticks, that'll help with syntax highlighting.

Brilliant. That is so helpful, thank you.
