How can I select ONLY text input elements?

I'm stacking how I should select text input elements. Is there any way to select "type" property or something?

index.html

    </head>
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="style.css" />

                <li>Item One: <input type="text"></li>
                <li>Item Two: <input type="text"></li>
                <li>Item Three: <input type="text"></li>
                <li>Item Four: <input type="text"></li>
            </ul>
            <button>Save</button>
        </section>
        <script src="app.js"></script>
    </body>
</html>
app.js
let section = document.getElementsByTagName('section')[0];

section.addEventListener('click', (e) => {
  if(e.target.tagName === "LI"){
  e.target.style.backgroundColor = 'rgb(255, 255, 0)';
  }
});

You can select only the "input" elements by passing it as a parameter to the selector: document.getElementsByTagName("INPUT")

Hi Arpad, I could finally pass the code challenge followed by your advice. Thanks!

You can select by type using the querySelectorAll() method:

document.querySelectorAll('input[type=text]');
