Full Stack JavaScript Techdegree Graduate 49,960 PointsHi Luckius,
In your example, you are calling returnValue but not storing the result:
returnValue( " same value " );
To store the result, we need to use a variable. For example:
var echo = returnValue (" same value ");
Full code:
function returnValue( voice ) {
var echo = voice
return echo;
}
var echo = returnValue (" same value ");
We can refactor this code. There is no need to declare var echo inside the function, we can just return the parameter. For example:
function returnValue( voice ) {
return voice;
}
var echo = returnValue(" same value ");

Hope this helps :)
