How can I write <nav> inside of <header>, after the link?

Here is the code, can you tell me what I am missing?

Firstly, I cannot see your code therefore cannot help you entirely however I presume you mean something like this?

<header>
     <a href="#">Nick Pettit</a>
     <nav>
        <ul>
           <li><a href="#">Page 1</a></li>
        </ul>
     </nav>
</header>

I finally got it to work, I left out the <a href> . Thank you for your help!!!!
