Im trying to ad two variables togther but add a # in front of the second.
var id = "23188xtr";
var lastName = "Smith";
var userName = (id + '#' + lastName.toUpperCase());

7,906 PointsYou need to set the ID to upper case too.
The concatenation is correct, but the challenge will fail if ID is not uppercase.
var userName = (id.toUpperCase() + '#' + lastName.toUpperCase());

in one shot by grouping with parentheses.
var userName = (id + '#' + lastName).toUpperCase();
