iOS Swift Collections and Control Flow Control Flow With Loops For In Loops

How do I append the values to the result array?

Question: Inside the body of the loop, we're going to use the multiplier to get the multiple of 6. For example, if the multiplier is 1, then the multiple is 1 times 6, which is equal to 6.

Once you have a value, append it to the results array. This way once the for loop has iterated over the entire range, the array will contain the first 10 multiples of 6.

loops.swift
// Enter your code below
var results: [Int] = []

for multiplier in 1...10 {
print("\(number) time 6 is equal to \(number * 6)")
}

You weren't asked to print an interpolated string. It says to append the value to the results array. You're unable to append a string or an array of strings to an array of integers which we know results to be. var results: [Int]

This question requires remembering how to append to an array learned earlier in the track. For a refresher it is arrayYouWantAppended.append(newArrayOrValues). In my example, the multiplication by 6 can take place inside of the parenthesis.

The correct answer to this question is:

var results: [Int] = []

for multiplier in 1...10 {
    results.append(multiplier * 6)
}

And if you type print(results) in to xcode, then you'll see the array has been updated.
