how do i apply the color to the h1 element?

i cant seem to remember how to apply the color to the h1 element. someone help please?

Put the selector before the declaration, like this:

h1 {
  color: green;
}

Inline CSS seems to make me forget some common practices too! :) Just like Kelly has stated before me, you just need to declare the CSS in a proper structure. Such as:

h1 {
color: green; }

  OR                 

h1 {

   color: #008000;   

}
