21,003 PointsTo assign a variable to an alert, you don't wrap it in quotes.
You also don't need a function to do so. ;) After removing the function, replace it with
alert("My name is " + myName)
This will assign the alert your myName variable and upon loading of your web page pop an alert up with the content My name is Sean Curran.
