how do i change the color of the text if theres nothing in my css?

Im trying to change the color but there are no lines in my css

In order to change the color of something using CSS, you must first specify what you are targeting to be changed. For example, if I wanted ONLY paragraphs to be colored in, I would use the following syntax:

p { color: purple; }

Well there are couple of ways to do so if you don't want to write code in your CSS file then you can use inline style as follow, <h1 style="color:red">Welcome to My Web Page!</h1> But that's not a good approach I would encourage you to use the CSS Selectors method to add style to your page.In order to add color to your heading just select your heading in the CSS file and give it a color by using color property as follows, /Code goes in CSS styleSheet/ h1 { color:purple; }
