How do I connect a theme I've downloaded to my wp site?

Hi Alexis,

If it's a theme you've downloaded via the WP admin from the WordPress Theme Directory it will just be a case of going to Appearance > Themes > Activate against the chosen theme.

If it's a theme downloaded as a zip file from elsewhere you can upload it by going to Appearance > Themes > Add New > Upload Theme. Once the theme is uploaded you can follow the steps above to activate it.

go onto to theme page in the backend run down to the bottom there should be a section called broken themes if it not is not there then there is a problem with the zip file?
