In CSS with the command display: block; or inline-block; ul li a { display: block } After this you can set up parameters to particular element such as width, height and so on.

"block" is a value for the display property.

So in your CSS rule that targets the element(s) you wish to affect, you might write:

  display: block;

Some elements are block by default but with this setting you can change the way other elements display. The default for other elements is usually inline, but as Attila mentioned, there is also a combination inline-block mode.

I also noticed that in your h1 rule for font-family you have mismatched quotes. I'm not sure, but they look like kind of quotes used for word processors instead of the kind used for programming.
