Python Python Basics (2015) Python Data Types Use .split() and .join()

how do I get banana.py to work? It says to break available down at the semi colons, so I type available.split(';')

banana.py is asking me to split the string available at the semi-colons. So, I type availabe.split(';') and it's telling me to make sure I use .split(). What am I doing wrong?

banana.py
available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"
available.split(';')
sundaes = ['banana split', 'hot fudge', 'cherry', 'malted', 'black and white']

You have to assign the result of calling split() to sundaes:

sundaes = available.split(';')

Thanks Kourosh! I couldn't figure out what was being asked of me.
