How do i open a command prompt on Windows?

So In the video, the first few seconds say to open a command prompt. I am using windows 8, and I see two command prompt, one for windows (default I think) and the other is command prompt for windows. I opened both of them, but neither one looks like the one shown in the video. What do I do?

Windows command prompts are a bit different looking than Mac or Linux command prompts. I don't have a ton of Windows experience, but, I think, on Windows 8 you're going to want to launch PowerShell most of the time. If you have problems with PowerShell, you should be able to work with cmd.exe. I'm not sure what the app name is for that one, though.
