How do I pass the values to the method with an or operator

How do I pass the requested values to this method with an or operator

1 Answer

hey, you simlpy have to check the command's variable value with the OR ( || ) operator :

def valid_command?(command)
 if  ( command == "YES" || "Y" || "y" || "yes" )
   return true
 end
end

or with an inline if statement :

def valid_command?(command)
  ( command == "YES" || "Y" || "y" || "yes" ) ? true : false
end
