JavaScript JavaScript Basics (Retired) Storing and Tracking Information with Variables Using String Methods

How do I pass this quiz It tells me that I am no longer passing test one but I am told to change that variable in test 2

Maybe I am not answering the question correctly but I can't tell what I am doing wrong and i can't figure it out

app.js
var id = "23188xtr";
var lastName = "Smith";

var userName = id.toUpperCase();
userName+='#';
username+=lastName.toUpperCase();
index.html
<!DOCTYPE HTML>
<html>
<head>
  <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8">
  <title>JavaScript Basics</title>
</head>
<body>
<script src="app.js"></script>
</body>
</html>

Lol that moment when you already asked this question three days ago and it was a typing error. To anyone having trouble on this challenge ignore the code above and paste var userName = id.toUpperCase(); /...For challenge one.../ userName += '#' + lastName.toUpperCase(); /...For Challenge Two.../

You last userName has a lowercase N. Try changing that lowercase "N" to a uppercase one :)

Overall your code is really neat and clean. :)

Good luck and have fun programming!

Hope this helps, Alex
