Android Build a Simple Android App (2014) Getting Started with Android Running the Fun Facts Project

how do I reconfigure my sdk download directory, it is not downloading to the download directory?

I am restarting the new tutorial with Fun Facts, but I ran into a glitch. The sdk manager can't download to the download directory but I ignored the warning and didn't shut off the norton firewall first. How do I reinitialise the sdk manager?

1 Answer

Go to file -> other settings -> default project structure

The location can be changed here. Simply click the ... and browse to the directory you want to download the sdk's

By default it should be /Applications/Android Studio.app/sdk for mac and something similar for Windows too

Thanks I think I'll be better off with Linux as opposed to windows there may be an issue w Norton firewall and or write permissions
