How do i return the variable?

I don't understand how to return the value of this function.

  var year = newDate().getFullYear();

When you called the "new Date().getFullYear()" it returned a value and then saved it to the variable called "year" so If you want it to return the year use "return year;" or you could also do "return new Date().getFullYear();"

Return year; You try return the function and you really return the var year i think
