How do I set the character set type for a page? Isn't it just <meta charset+"utf-8"> ?

I'm typing that and getting an error response

James, while both UTF-8 and utf-8 are accepted values for the charset in HTML, it should be noted that UTF-8 is preferred as if you ever work with XML, capitalizing the UTF-8 value is standards-compliant.
