how do i write dict with several numbers?? also why is my code not passing

whats wrong with my code

dicts.py
player = {"name": "tom" , "remaining_lives": 3, "levels":(1, 2, 3, 4), {"items": {"tool":"book"}}

your 'levels':(1, 2, 3, 4) is not a list, a list has square brackets. change it to 'levels'=[1, 2, 3, 4] and it should work, also remove the square bracket in front of your last item items,

I think you mean, change it to 'levels': [1, 2, 3, 4] (using a colon instead of equals), and remove the extra curly bracket from in front of "items"
