How do you actually create a database?

I am almost at the end of the Intermediate PHP track and I am really disappointed, because it seems like none of the courses teach you how to actually create (seed) a database. Learning CRUD feels pretty useless if I can't then go and create a database and an application I want to build. Therefore I am hoping someone can point me to a good resource where I CAN learn to create a database from scratch. Thanks.

Depends on the database but just read the documentation. Google is your friend.

With code some are as simple as:

CREATE DATABASE testDB;
