im stuck here.. i cant figure out how to add these to variables together where all of them are uppercase. Whats wrong with my code?
var id = "23188xtr";
var lastName = "Smith";
var userName = (id.toUpperCase());

You have userName spelled wrong on your last line of code. It is case-sensitive.

Full Stack JavaScript Techdegree Graduate 71,350 PointsHmmm... I copied your code and changed just the one letter and it passes for me. Maybe you have other changes in your code since then?

var userName = id.toUpperCase()+'#'+lastName .toUpperCase();
It should add to the earlier code. I believe this will help you out. Regards,
